Royal Armouries displays some of Britain's oldest collection of armour and military equipment, the Royal Armouries also houses interactive exhibitions of international artefacts and live performances. In the summer months the acts thrill visitors with its regular outdoor jousting, horse combat and falconry demonstrations.
The Musuems library contains material relating to the history and development and inside the Museum it includes the royal armours of the Tudor and Stuart kings; arms and armour of the English Civil War from Littlecote House; British and foreign military weapons from the Board of Ordnance and Pattern Room collections; hunting and sporting weapons, and oriental arms and armour.

The Ilkley Manor House is a quaint Elizabethan building on the site of a Roman fort. The Manor House is one of the oldest buildings situated in the spa town of Ilkley.
Among the galleries is a display which illustrate the historv of Ilkley from Prehistoric times through to the Victorian period. Some of the displays are local finds of prehistoric and Roman artefacts recovered from the fort.

You can step back in time to 1842 and experience the sights and sounds of Victorian Leeds! This lively and interactive museum was named England’s Small Visitor Attraction of the Year 2004.
The Thackray Museum helps us all to explore how and why health and medicine have changed in the past, so we can make informed choices in the future. It’s a Hands- on exhibition where you can choose a character and discover what made them ill and help find a cure. You may be shocked at some of the lotions and potions which were offered.
