Whether you're planning a meeting, corporate event, or private function, Slimbridge is the perfect unique venue for your event.  Our award-winning visitor centre overlooks the largest collections of swans, ducks and geese in the world, making it a fascinating, educational and interactive location.

Slimbridge has facilities for events of all sizes including meeting rooms, exhibition spaces, a 93-seater cinema, and private dining or summer BBQ areas.  We can facilitate larger-scale events in both the Foyer and Water’s Edge Restaurant, including lectures, wedding banquets and receptions, and evening dinner parties.

Our in-house catering team provides delicious menus to suit all tastes, using locally sourced produce wherever possible; from business breakfasts, coffee breaks and lunches, to evening dining and BBQs.  Menus can be tailored to your specification and all dietary requirements can be catered for.

By choosing WWT Slimbridge as your venue, you will also be directly helping wildlife conservation; supporting the important work of the Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust, both in the UK and internationally.

We are able to offer the following extras to our corporate visitors to make your visit to Slimbridge that much more memorable:

• Year-round guided walks around the resident birds
• Floodlit swan feeds between the months of November and February
• Private tours to our Duckery in May to see the ducklings and goslings
• Private hire of our Canoe Safari - let your staff take to the water!
• Land Rover Safaris out on our reserve during the summer months
• Lectures and films about WWT and our collection of birds.

The Harvey Room

Situated within our Visitor Centre, the Harvey Room is perfect for boardroom style meetings for up to 16 people. 

The McNiece Room

Above the Peng Observatory, this room is perfect for boardroom style meetings for up to 16 people. It offers an intimate venue, with superb views over swan lake.

The Cinema

Our 93-seater Cinema is tiered for maximum comfort and view. Boasting a large screen, full audio visual set up and light/sound system, it makes the ideal venue for corporate presentations, seminars and lectures.

The Classroom

A light and colourful room, perfect for workshops, presentation and brainstorming sessions. Situated next to the Cinema this room is also the ideal break out space for corporate away-days.

The Peng Observatory

Between the months of March to September inclusive the Peng offers a flexible events space for up to 70 people. Guests can be inspired by spectacular views over Swan Lake (where the Bewick's Swans reside during October to February, when the Peng is used specifically as a hide). The Peng is perfect for lectures, meetings, and even for dining - it is very popular for private family lunches!

Water’s Edge Restaurant

The Water's Edge Restaurant, with its beautiful views of the Caribbean flamingos, provides a dining space for 120. The adjoining paved terrace has proved particularly popular for BBQs during the summer, offering additional space for your guests to relax.

The Foyer

The Foyer is a superb and unique venue for up to 300 people, popular for lectures, AGMs, exhibitions, evening receptions and private dining. We are also able to hire a small part of the Foyer, for groups of up to 50, for informal presentations.
